Daylight Saving

Some states in Australia practise Daylight Saving Time (DST). Daylight Saving is the practice of putting clocks forward by one hour in the warmer months. In Australia, New South Wales, the Australian Capital Territory, Victoria, South Australia, and Tasmania observe Daylight Savings. Western Australia, Queensland and the Northern Territory don’t observe Daylight Savings. Daylight Savings Time in Australia begins at 2am on the first Sunday in October (clocks are put forward an hour) and ends at 2am on the first Sunday in April (clocks are then put back one hour).
