Does OSHC cover the cost?

If you're planning to have the procedure, it is important to call our 24/7 helpline^ first so they can assist with locating a doctor and an agreement hospital. They will advise you what you're covered for and check that you've served any relevant waiting periods.

This can help you avoid any unnecessary out-of-pocket expenses and allow you to make informed choices and be confident about what to expect when using your cover.

You may be asked to pay the fees on or before the attendance. Once you have had the treatment and have the itemised receipt, you can make a claim.

We will reimburse you 100% of the Medicare Schedule Benefits (MBS) fee.
